Last Monday brought the judging of our Annual Exhibition to completion. Libby Smith from Carluke Camera Club gave a thorough commentary on all 93 prints and projected images entered in this final competitive show of the year. A rather cute image by Ian Mortimer won the Annual Trophy this year, an image involving a wee dog, an old suitcase and some gorgeous lighting, which Ian had titled ”Eddie’s Adventures”.
The overall standard of images was exceptionally high with eight images in total getting the full 20 marks out of 20 from judge Libby. These included the Best Monochrome Print titled “The Old Guard” by Jim Stevenson (included in another post below) and The Best Colour Print titled “With an Air of Confidence” by Martin Clark. However, it was Ian Mortimer’s great projected image that won the overall prize this time round.
Congratulations Ian!!
